Teacher. Virginie Crollen teaches students at the Faculty of Psychological Sciences and Education at the Catholic University of Louvain, in Belgium. A member of the Psychological Sciences Research Institute (IPSY) and the Neuroscience Institute (IONS), the research interests of the laboratory she directs are mainly focused on the digital development of atypical populations.

Teacher. Grace Iarocci is an active member of the Psychology department at Simon Fraser University, Canada and the director of the Autism and Developmental Disabilities Lab (ADDL). Currently supervising more than a dozen research students, her laboratory is continually engaged in connecting and supporting neurodivergent people through research, training, and collaboration.

Doctoral student at the Catholic University of Louvain, Elise Rombaux is the initiator of this international research collaboration and is hosted by the ADDL at Simon Fraser University for the duration of her study. With several years of clinical practice in the field of mathematical learning, her main interest is to develop research in the field of mathematical learning in a school and inclusive context. She will be your main contact throughout this project.

Alex is a fourth year SFU student completing a research engagement course under the supervision of Elise for the Spring 2024 semester. She will graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminology with certificates in Speech Science and Forensics next spring. Alex works as a behaviour interventionist for preschool and elementary school-aged children on the autism spectrum and hopes to pursue a career in Speech-Language Pathology. In her free time, Alex loves to go hiking, read, learn about forensic cases, and collect houseplants. We warmly thank her for her contribution.
